This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 This is a very dark college romance book and you need to check TRIGGER WARNINGS before reading。Shantel has done a phenomenal job writing this， it's very well written and she continues to create incredible world building。 Sin is a man that knows what he wants and he will take what he wants and he will do anything to protect and keep Elli。 Elli is broken and used and a target for the Lords。 She thinks she's not wanted or loved。 She doesn't know that sin is her stalker/hero and he knows exactly wha This is a very dark college romance book and you need to check TRIGGER WARNINGS before reading。Shantel has done a phenomenal job writing this， it's very well written and she continues to create incredible world building。 Sin is a man that knows what he wants and he will take what he wants and he will do anything to protect and keep Elli。 Elli is broken and used and a target for the Lords。 She thinks she's not wanted or loved。 She doesn't know that sin is her stalker/hero and he knows exactly what Elli needs to survive。This book is just incredible and is the best dark book I have read this year。 And I recommend this book so much， it's a page turner and a must read。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 Spoilers -I'm honestly struggling with my star rating。I'm giving it a 2 point 5。 Please check your triggers and if you have a specific one， don't hesitate to reach out to the appropriate person to ask if it is in the book。The book is dark。 The themes are dark， what happens throughout the whole book is dark。 What happened to the h is dark。Personally， my trouble rating this book doesn't come from its darkness。I'm struggling because I just feel something is missing from this book and I'm not quite Spoilers -I'm honestly struggling with my star rating。I'm giving it a 2 point 5。 Please check your triggers and if you have a specific one， don't hesitate to reach out to the appropriate person to ask if it is in the book。The book is dark。 The themes are dark， what happens throughout the whole book is dark。 What happened to the h is dark。Personally， my trouble rating this book doesn't come from its darkness。I'm struggling because I just feel something is missing from this book and I'm not quite sure how to put it into words。I will start with that I actually thought the story was wrapping up 3 times， but then checked the percentage and realised I was way off。Now big books are great， but It just felt off that as I was reading I though the conclusion to the story was ending so many times。Smexy times - there was alot in tuos book that it took away from the story， and honestly， the h was in pain alot of the times they did it。 It wasn't enjoyable to read every time。 I just felt zero connection。Sin - what can I say。 He's dark， filthy and demanding。 But he lacked something for me and unfortunately， I didn't vibe。 Maybe I had my expectation too high after the ritual， I dunno。Elli - girl has been through some stuff， and I feel the villain needed to be just abit softer at times with her。 He had many opportunities， and he decided to do。。。。 other things instead。 From reading she needed a protector and well。。 she needed it from him too。I felt that sin shamed her at times for her past， one she couldn't control and my dude。。 I didn't like that。 I can handle harsh words， but I honestly just felt he didn't give a f*ck。 Not a slither of care in words or actions for so much of this book that I just。。。sigh。。 I was disappointed。 I needed that little bit of care to well。。。。 care about him as a character。 But so much was done to her， just like other men had done to her， it was too late。People can handle the big bad who's only that one type of way with their woman。。 but when they don't do the slightest difference from what others have done to her。。 that's when I start questioning。。。。 Will there be redemption？My answer。。。 no。 Again， I needed that care and it came way too late for me。Now elli belly loves her fantasies and sin provided them。 But it felt。。。 not wrong。。。 but。。 again。。 just honestly lacking that subtle care。。。 bare minimum in my eyes。Now don't get me wrong， I lurveeee and alpha-hole。。 a villain。。 a posessesive， obsessive male who gives zero fs。。。 but the lack of care from the H that I felt for over half this book with him towards elli， even a little smidge， put me off。That's the only thing I can thing of that just made me feel something is off when I read this book。Did I mention lack of care？ 🤣 I'm a broken record at this point。I loved the world， the ritual， but unfortunately this book and I didn't vibe。 I also feel some trigger warnings are missing， that's why I urge anyone that has any to reach out and double check 💖I usually don't write such long reviews， but I guess I just needed to purge my thoughts because I'm shocked I didn't live this。Saying that。 If you love the dark dark and have no triggers， dont mind that well， the H showing nothing but selfishness to his own wants， give it a go 🙌 just because I didn't vibe doesn't mean you won't。 I'm honestly surprised I didn't because I usually eat this sh*t up for breakfast。 Happy reading 💖 。。。more

The Devil and his little demon…If you’re new to Shantel’s books then I say check the trigger warnings because she writes dark romance like no other。 If you’ve read The Ritual by her and loved it then I say proceed blind。 Sin is the son of a lord and is expected to do as he’s told but he’s got plans of his own。 He wants Elli and he will go to any length to make her his。 She’s promised to someone else and so is Sin but it doesn’t stop them from wanting each other no matter how toxic and depraved t The Devil and his little demon…If you’re new to Shantel’s books then I say check the trigger warnings because she writes dark romance like no other。 If you’ve read The Ritual by her and loved it then I say proceed blind。 Sin is the son of a lord and is expected to do as he’s told but he’s got plans of his own。 He wants Elli and he will go to any length to make her his。 She’s promised to someone else and so is Sin but it doesn’t stop them from wanting each other no matter how toxic and depraved they are for each other or who tries to stand in their way。 Lots of action in this， bloody violence and depraved steaminess。 So many dark twists that you don’t see coming。 You will want to throw your reading device across the room several times and grab tissues for the hell these characters go through and cause each other to go through。 This book has some traumatic scenes that can make your skin crawl and stomach drop but it all brings this story alive and will have you rooting for The Devil and his little demon。 。。。more
